Every race you compete in will give your Punk some XP based on their placing in the race.
The amount of XP gained is as follows:
1st place - 10 XP
2nd place - 8 XP
3rd place - 6 XP
4th and onwards - 2 XP
Your required XP amount to gain a level can be calculated using the following formula:
xp_to_next_level = ((current_level + 1) / 0.25)²
Example. In order to get from level 4 to level 5, you’d need to accumulate 400 XP
Each level gained will give you some Skill Points, the amount depends on your level
The Skill Points gained are as follows:
Lvl 1 - 20 = 1 Skill Point
Lvl 21 - 40 = 2 Skill Points
Lvl 41 - 60 = 4 Skill Points
Lvl 61 - 80 = 6 Skill Points
Lvl 80+ = 8 Skill Points
Skill Points can be spent on different skills in the skill tree. The tree has 3 branches to differentiate the skills.
Vehicle Branch
Terrain/Weather Branch
Miscellaneous Branch
Different Skills will give different advantages to your racing experience.
Most skills have tiers, which means you can buy a skill more than once (3-5 times).
Each higher tier of the same skill will increase the given bonus.
Some skills have prerequisites, such as a minimum level requirement (e.g. you must be level 15 to unlock ‘Pandora’s Box’ skill).
Some skills can also require the Punk to have other skills obtained (e.g. in order to unlock ‘Pit Stop Crew’, you must have ‘Handyman’ and ‘Oil Magnate’ skills at tier 3).
In order to obtain a skill point, choose one from the tree (make sure you have enough skill points to cover the costs), and click Confirm. You’ll have to sign using your wallet. Wait for the confirmation to appear and then the skill will be applied.
