Mint or Minting an NFT

Minting an NFT is a fancy term for "creating a digital collectable onto the blockchain".

For example, if minting a new World of Freight vehicle via our website, then at the time of Minting, our website will send a request to our server for creating a new digital World of Freight vehicle NFT that will be sent to your wallet.

Digital Wallet

A digital wallet is needed to purchase or mint World of Freight vehicles, and that's also into which you can collect your $WOF tokens. Having a wallet gives you an Ethereum address (i.e. 0xABCD….1234), and this is where your NFT will be stored.

We suggest using , which exists both as a plugin extension that lives within your web browser and as a mobile application that lives within your phone which can interact with the blockchain.

There are also other wallets that you can use to interact with the World of Freight ecosystem. However, we recommend using the MetaMask Wallet as it is most widely used at the moment.

For more information, check guide.

ETH Balance

Your ETH Balance is shown inside your digital wallet.

For example, if you have transferred 1 ETH to your MetaMask, your ETH Balance will display 1 ETH.

Please note that you will need to use your ETH Balance to buy World of Freight vehicles.

If you haven't bought any ETH previously, check guide.

$WOF Tokens

$WOF utility token is the primary fuel for everything in the World Of Freight ecosystem.

Its utility ranges from being the payment method for upgrading the vehicles at the Garage to being the reward for winning the tournaments at the Racing Arena. When sending their vehicle to the Junkyard, one also needs to surrender their $WOF tokens.

In the future, will also be used for entering into paid race events or leasing other people's World of Freight vehicles for the race events.

You can get $WOF Tokens via earning them by owning a World of Freight NFT vehicle, winning the race events in the Racing Arena or swapping them from .
